Game Sheet Rules

If there is a discipline incident game sheets are used for reviewing what happened, what players were there and who was in charge of each team. That is why game sheets must be filled out correctly as follows:

PLAYER NUMBERS:
  • All players MUST have a number
  • Two players cannot have the same number
  • A player cannot have two numbers
  • Goalies cannot have a G , they need to have a number as well, 0 is okay
  • Cross out players who are not at the game, their Name & OS Number
MANAGERS:
  • You need to have at least one official on your game sheet
  • You must have initials beside the official's name
  • Cross out officials who are not at the game, their Name & OS Number
  • If an official's name is on the game sheet without initials that is a violation
  • If you delegate manager duties to someone else, do it the night before, send them the PDF of the roster, all they need to do is print the rosters and initial the manager's area
LEGIBILITY:
  • The best approach is to use the MMSL website and print your roster
  • If you add players at game time, all their details (name, jersey#, SportEngine#) must be filled in and legible
  • If you don't print off the game sheet, all details about the game must be filled in, you are encouraged to use the MMSL site

Bottom line: $50 paper work violations are preventable, do your part when filling out your game sheet.
